When you enroll at Advanced eClinical Training (ACT), you receive 12 months of full access to your program β including the student portal, NHA learning dashboard, simulation platforms, and all instructional resources you need to complete your coursework.
If life gets busy and you need more time to finish, don't worry β we offer course extensions in 6-month increments to help you cross the finish line. This article walks you through everything you need to know.

Your Standard Enrollment Period
Every ACT student receives 12 months of full access to their program from the official start date listed in their Enrollment Agreement.
During this enrollment period, you have full access to:
- β The Student Portal
- β The NHA Learning Dashboard
- β All simulation platforms
- β Every instructional resource required for course completion
While most students finish their programs in 8 to 12 weeks, the 12-month window gives you flexibility to balance school with work, family, and life.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for a course extension, you must meet both of the following requirements:
β Requirement 1: Good Standing
You must be actively enrolled and in good academic and financial standing with ACT. This means:
- Your tuition and any fees are current
- You have no outstanding academic issues
β Requirement 2: Timely Submission
You must submit your written extension request before your original enrollment end date β at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the expiration of your current enrollment period.
